Christmas 2024 is complete!  As the national Toys for Tots Foundation updates its accounting, the number of local children we have helped will update on this page.

Thank you to all our donors!!!  This was a very tough year, but you helped us through.  

All questions or communications about the Toys for Tots program in southeast Kansas should be submitted through email:  pittsburg.ks@toysfortots.org
 

Each year, the Pittsburg KS Toys for Tots supports the Salvation Army Christmas Distribution.  Most of the toys we collect go to that event since that organization supplies toys and other assistance to families and children in need in this geographic area.  If you can qualify for the Salvation Army Christmas distribution (Crawford County residents only), you will be eligible for Toys for Tots AND other Christmas-related assistance. 

If you are a Crawford County resident and can apply through the Salvation Army, that is the ONLY place you should apply.  Do not submit an additional application through this website.

If you are a Cherokee County resident or a Crawford County resident who does not qualify for the Salvation Army program, you can apply for Toys for Tots through this website.  Through the Toys for Tots website, we distribute toys to families living in Crawford and Cherokee Counties. 

Toys for Tots applications in Crawford and Cherokee Counties are open for any children, ages 0-17, who are residents of these counties. The applicant must be
  • the custodial parent or legal guardian of the child,
  • over the age of 18, and
  • a resident of Cherokee County or Crawford County, KS. 
Applicants must be able to provide evidence of legal guardianship, a birth certificate for each child, and must be able to demonstrate their residence with a current lease agreement or with a current utility bill. 


While we appreciate the desire of members of the extended family to each give a present to the child, we provide toys only to the legal guardian or custodial parent.
