We accepted APPLICATIONS for Christmas 2025 from November 15 to November 30.

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.

Watch your email for verification of that application.  We will only contact you directly through email.  After verifications have been finished, we will send text messages to approved recipients notifying them when and where their toys can be picked up.

Please note:  If you live in Crawford County, you should apply through the Salvation Army Christmas program, which distributes Christmas assistance including our toys.  To apply, contact the Pittsburg Salvation Army during the first two weeks of November.

Each year, the Pittsburg KS Toys for Tots supports the Salvation Army Christmas Distribution.  Most of the toys we collect go to that event since that organization supplies toys and other assistance to families and children in need in this geographic area.  If you can qualify for the Salvation Army Christmas distribution (Crawford County residents only), you will be eligible for Toys for Tots AND other Christmas-related assistance. 

If you are a Crawford County resident and can apply through the Salvation Army, that is the ONLY place you should apply.  Do not submit an additional application through this website.

If you are a Cherokee County resident or a Crawford County resident who does not qualify for the Salvation Army program, you can apply for Toys for Tots through this website.  Through the Toys for Tots website, we distribute toys to families living in Crawford and Cherokee Counties. 

Toys for Tots applications in Crawford and Cherokee Counties are open for any children, ages 0-17, who are residents of these counties. The applicant must be
  • the custodial parent or legal guardian of the child,
  • over the age of 18, and
  • a resident of Cherokee County or Crawford County, KS. 
Applicants must be able to provide evidence of legal guardianship, a birth certificate for each child, and must be able to demonstrate their residence with a current lease agreement or with a current utility bill. 


While we appreciate the desire of members of the extended family to each give a present to the child, we provide toys only to the legal guardian or custodial parent.
